Simply put, you should never think about going for a job or internship interview without preparation and practice. No matter how qualified you may appear on paper, your interview will determine whether you are hired or not. Please read through the material on interviewing to learn what to expect in an interview and how to best prepare for it, but additionally, sign-up for a practice interview. Additionally, alumni consistently tell us that it is never too early to start preparing for interviews and that all students should do a mock interview to strengthen their interviewing skills.
