Gaby Dunn is a bestselling author, journalist, television writer, actress, and LGBTQ+ activist. Her podcast “Bad With Money” was named one of the top ten podcasts of 2016 by The New York Times. She'll be visiting Scripps to talk about her latest book, Bad With Money: The Imperfect Art of Getting Your Financial Sh*t Together. This is a special student session and RSVP's will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Financial Literacy Program: Paychecks & Taxes

Understanding Paychecks and Taxes will include information on how to estimate net income from gross salary, the importance of researching and comparing monetary and non-monetary benefits associated with employment and understanding the fundamentals of federal income taxes.

NHMA College Health Scholars Program: 2019 California Inland Empire Conference
Saturday, February 23rd 2019, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Courtyard - Smith Campus Center, POM

The mission of National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) is to increase the diversity of the health workforce with Hispanic physicians, health professionals, and scientist/researchers. During this conference, students will get to hear from current health/science students and professionals on how they prepared themselves in college. There will also be a financial aid panel, focusing on ways to pay for a graduate health/science school.

Overland hires exceptional college students and recent graduates to lead summer programs across the country and around the world. The staff of nearly 200 leaders and support staff spend ten days training and six weeks leading or supporting programs throughout the summer.
