Before you pass through the gates of Pomona for the last time as a student, please make sure you are aware of the following:
E-mail Accounts: Your Pomona MyMail account is yours to keep as an Alumnus/a, provided you log into the web interface at least once every 180 days (or it may become dormant).
E-mail Addresses: Your base email address LoginID@mymail.pomona.edu will remain with you as an alum but the associated email aliases (email@example.com, LoginID@pomona.edu, etc.) will be removed in the first business week of December. Any messages sent to the associated e-mail aliases may bounce. Please be sure to notify those who use this version of your e-mail of this change as soon as possible and change any online websites, social media and other accounts that utilize these associated e-mail aliases address as your contact. After December 1, the only address that will work is your loginID@mymail.pomona.edu address.
Personal pages website and network file spaces: Your personal pages and network file space will be removed on December 1st. Be sure to copy what you want saved to another form of file storage, such as a flash drive, external hard disk or cloud storage. You can also utilize the OneDrive cloud storage space available to you within Office 365 (MyMail).
Box Account: If you have created a Pomona Box account, it will be automatically transitioned for you to a personal Box account and be subject to the terms of service for a personal account. The disk quota will be 50GB. You have more than 50GB in your Pomona Box account after the first week of December, you will not be able to store any new files until you bring your disk space usage below the 50GB quota. Please note that no files will be removed/deleted from your Box account if your quota is over 50GBs. If you need more than 50GB storage, additional space can be purchased through Box.com.
Alumni Portal: Your Pomona login ID and password will give you access to the Alumni Portal in Pomona's portal. The Alumni Portal will allow you to access Unofficial Transcripts and to request Official Transcripts.
MyPassword Manager: If you have not already, you should activate your account in the MyPassword password manager and set up your password recovery information. This will provide self-service access to reset your Pomona e-mail and portal passwords in case they are forgotten in the future.
