Information Technology Services requires an account on the College computing systems to use campus online services and computers. Your Pomona account includes access to systems such as the My.Pomona portal, Kronos, Sakai, computer network registration, lab/classroom computer login, among other resources. E-mail accounts are available only to Pomona College faculty, staff, students, and 7-College faculty teaching courses at Pomona.
How to Request an Account
Accounts are automatically generated* for Pomona College students, faculty, and staff. Accounts are also automatically created for 7-College students enrolled in Pomona classes, 7-College faculty teaching Pomona College classes, and 7-College students employed by Pomona College.
If you need an account and are not among those listed above, you will need to request an account manually. Your supervisor or sponsoring faculty member will need to request the account your behalf by sending an e-mail to ServiceDesk@pomona.edu with the following information:
- First, middle and last name
- College you attend
- Your college ID number
- Birthdate (Month, Day, Year)
- The Pomona class you are taking
- The name of the professor of that class
- An e-mail address so that we can notify you when your account is ready for pick-up
- Postal Mailing Address
- Telephone number
You will be notified by e-mail or telephone when your account is ready for pickup.
