Visitors to campus may find these directions and parking suggestions helpful, as well as this interactive campus map. For those staying overnight in Claremont, local accommodations are plentiful. Visitors are invited to join a student-led campus tour and/or attend an information session given by an admissions officer. Each last about one hour.

Accessibility

Visitors who may need accommodations while visiting campus (wheelchairs, interpreters, parking, etc.) are encouraged to contact us at least one week before a visit. We strive to make every visitor's experience as comfortable as possible.

Interviews

While we do not schedule on-campus interviews, we always welcome the chance to speak with you and your family informally on campus or respond to your emails with information or insider tidbits. Look up your admissions officer, so you can address him or her by something other than "hey you!"

Since Pomona does not track demonstrated interest in the admissions process, off-campus alumni interviews are purely optional and are aimed at connecting you with a graduate of Pomona who can give you more insight into the College and answer any questions you might have. An evaluation of the interview will become part of an applicant's file. Please be aware that our alumni network does not extend to every corner of the country or world, and we cannot always fulfill every interview request.

The deadline for requesting an alumni interview is:

Early Decision 1: October 14
Early Decision 2 and Regular Decision: December 9
Transfer: February 8 (must be completed by February 24)

Overnight Stays

Prospective students who are high school seniors or transfer applicants may stay overnight in a residence hall as the guest of a current student. Visits are generally available Monday through Thursday nights during October and November. In March and April overnight visits are reserved for admitted students. We provide visitors with meal passes for dining halls, cots and linens, and library and athletics facilities passes. Please be aware that, due to limited availability, we can only accommodate overnight visitors on a first-come, first-served basis for a one-night stay, and we are unable to accommodate requests for stays on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights. On those days, we can suggest some local hotels. To request an overnight stay, choose an available date on this calendar at least two weeks in advance of your requested date of stay. You will receive information about your student host shortly before your stay. Hosts may take visitors to their classes, or visitors can attend classes of interest from schedules available in the Office of Admissions.

For more information about overnight stays, please contact Rhosheil Chavez-Uy.
