Important Reminder: COVID-19 Booster Requirement (2/9/22)

Dear faculty and staff,

Last week, the COVID-19 Planning and Response group sent a message outlining the details of the College’s requirement to remain up-to-date on COVID-19 status as a condition of employment. This means that all eligible members of our community need to get their COVID-19 booster shot if they have not already done so.

The deadline for obtaining your booster and uploading the information is this Friday, February 11.

As of yesterday, 84% of faculty and staff have received their booster shot; 90% of eligible faculty and 82% of eligible staff have received the booster.

We are pleased we are making progress toward our goal and urge those of you who have yet to get your booster, to please do so by Friday and upload your proof right away.

We are considering medical and religious exemptions (we will honor approved exemptions from last semester); the deadline to submit an exemption request was this past Friday, February 4.

Starting Monday, February 14, those of you who are not up to date on your COVID-19 vaccine, including those with an approved exemption, must test for COVID twice per week at the HHB clinic at 118 8th Street.

As a reminder, receiving the COVID-19 vaccine booster is a condition of continued employment with the College.
