Remote Work Update (1/26/22)

Dear Faculty and Staff,

With students returning to in-person classes on Monday, January 31, we also are adjusting the remote work plan implemented temporarily while the semester started online.

Departments and offices that support faculty and students on campus should be open and staffed appropriately as classes resume Monday. At the same time, we are asking supervisors to continue to be flexible when it is possible for staff to continue to work remotely on a rotational schedule.

We recognize that the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is still present in our community, though with a lower rate of positive cases than we saw at the beginning of the month.

We will continue to follow our multi-layered safety strategy, with required vaccination (including boosters), testing and masks.

For faculty and staff who are returning to campus, please remember that you are required to test for COVID-19 once per week at the Hamilton Health Box Clinic at 118 18th Street. You can test during walk in hours:

Mondays: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Tuesdays: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Wednesdays; 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Thursdays: 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Thank you for all your support as we work together to carry out our academic mission while meeting the challenges posed by the recent Omicron surge in COVID-19 cases.

As we make this transition, please consult with your supervisor regarding your work schedule/location. If you have any additional questions, please contact your HR business partner.

Sincerely,

Rob Goldberg
