The duo Celliola (Cynthia Fogg and Tom Flaherty) will be joined by faculty friends in their upcoming annual Fall performance. They will perform music by William Appleton ’14, Tom Flaherty, Karl Kohn, Caroline Shaw and Jack Van Zandt.

Celliola was founded in 1979 by Flaherty and Fogg, choosing the name – Celliola – as a blend of cello and viola. Since their founding the ensemble has premiered over 35 works composed for the duo, and have also commissioned many works. From solos to duets and pieces for chamber ensembles, their concerts are typically full of works written within the last five years.
