The Humanities Studio at Pomona College presents “Weird Science,” a day-long colloquium on the history and varieties of science denial, including alchemy, mesmerism, climate-science denial and vaccine hesitancy. The colloquium is a special edition of the Studio's 2019-20 "post/truth" Speakers Series. Colloquium sessions begin at 10 a.m. in Hahn Hall, Room 101, and are capped off with a keynote address from Joe Palca, NPR Science Correspondent and Pomona College alumnus from the Class of 1974. Session schedule and updates will be posted on the Humanities Studio event page. The colloquium is free and open to the public.
