Gloria Liou ’18

Eric Lindholm, conductor, leads the collegiate ensemble and Gloria Liou ’18, violin, winner of the 2015 PCO Concerto Competition, in two concerts, Friday, February 26 at 8 p.m. and again on Sunday, February 28 at 3 p.m.

Concerto Competition winner Gloria Liou (PO ’18) is a double major in computer science and linguistics/cognitive science. She currently studies violin with violin instructor Sarah Thornblade who is associate principal second violin with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. Gloria previously studied with Li Lin of the Juilliard School. She is one of the concertmasters of the Pomona College Orchestra, and previously served as concertmaster of the California All-State Orchestra and the Saratoga High Orchestra.
