Join us for a talk by playwright Chantal Bilodeau in which she addresses the following questions: What is the role of theatre in addressing climate change? How do stories create meaning and shape culture? What stories do we need in this moment in order to be able to move toward a just and sustainable future?

Bilodeau is a playwright and the Artistic Director of The Arctic Cycle, an organization that uses theatre to foster dialogue about our global climate crisis, create an empowering vision of the future and inspire people to take action. She runs the online platform Artists & Climate Change; is a co-organizer of Climate Change Theatre Action, a worldwide series of performances of short climate change plays presented in support of the United Nations COP meetings; and is writing a cycle of eight plays that look at the social and environmental changes taking place in the eight Arctic nations.
