April 6, 7 (8pm), April 8 (2pm and 8pm), April 9 (2pm)

In Charles Mee’s Trojan Women: A Love Story, Dido reads Aeneas’ tarot cards in a post-apocalyptic spa and Cassandra manifests as a political activist with a taste for BDSM. In this world, ancient Greek gods co-exist with contemporary individuals and everyone is struggling with how to cope with the ravages of war. How to begin again after everything has been lost? Mee offers us the possibility of a feminist utopia just on the horizon, but is patriarchy so deeply ingrained that it will prevent the fruition of this more evolved society?
