Teaching from original works of art is central to the mission of the Museum. Throughout the academic year the Museum offers a variety of educational programs highlighting the exhibitions and collections of the Museum and connecting our students with the arts and concerns of our time. Faculty and students of the Claremont Colleges use the Museum—its exhibitions and collections—as a resource for teaching, a classroom, and a subject for research and writing projects and assignments. The Museum’s programs are available as a resource for local area schools and groups.
The Museum offers internships to Pomona College students in all areas of Museum work from curatorial to registration. The Art in Dialogue series provides a forum for campus communities to investigate the permanent collection.
