KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT
We want you to enjoy your visit, and we want to protect the works of art in our care! You can help us do both.
Do not touch works of art without permission or lean on walls, easels, or cases.
ENTRY
Arrive on time if entering as a group. Late individuals will have to contact someone in their group to alert museum staff for access.
BAG AND COAT CHECK
All backpacks, unworn coats, umbrellas, laptop cases, packages, and other large items must be stored in designated cubbies. Loose items like sunglasses that may fall on artwork must also be stored.
Due to limited space, we recommend bringing in as few personal belongings as possible.
Use outside racks to store your bike, scooter, or skateboard.
FOOD AND DRINK
Consume food/drink in our courtyard before entering the museum or leave it behind. Food/drink (including gum, breath mints, and cough drops) is not permitted inside galleries or portals.
Closable water bottles can be stored outside galleries and portals to access as needed.
PENCILS
Use non-mechanical HB pencils to take notes. Pens and markers can damage art.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Non-flash personal-use photography is welcome except where noted. Refrain from holding cameras or phones over artwork that can drop and cause damage.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Trained service animals are welcome. To notify museum staff in advance, please contact benton@pomona.edu.
