Share in the Pomona College tradition of "Enter Here," where first-year students enter the College Gates to the cheers of their families and upperclassmen. The Gates, 100 years old this year, offer this welcome from Pomona's fourth president: "Let only the eager, thoughtful, and reverent enter here."

Students exit the Gates ceremoniously as graduating seniors the day before Commencement, paying heed to Blaisdell's departing exhortation on the other side: "They only are loyal to this college who, departing, bear their added riches in trust for mankind."
