I'm a Participant! What happens next?
Congratulations on being accepted by Pomona College to study abroad! Once you have returned your signed acceptance offer and release agreement, you become a Study Abroad Participant. This website contains the required Participation Forms and a wealth of information that you will need to prepare yourself for study abroad. We hope you will enjoy browsing through our many resources. So, now that you're accepted, what happens next?
- Download and submit the Participation Forms by the deadline.
- Attend the mandatory orientation session, time to be announced. Mark your calendar now!
- Learn more about your country by utilizing the Department of State information, travel stipends, time and money resources and health and safety information available on our website.
- Apply for your visa.
Dates for Spring 2015 Abroad Meetings
Orientation is a vital part of your study abroad preparation and there are two mandatory orientations required for all students. Students participating on Non-Pomona Programs must attend a meeting to discuss special procedures for these programs. Please make the necessary arrangements in your schedule to attend.
General Study Abroad Orientation
All study abroad participants are required to attend General Orientation.
