Jennifer Scanlon has been the head coach of the Pomona-Pitzer women's soccer team since 2003. During her tenure, she has been honored as the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Coach of the Year, and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) West Region Coach of the Year. She guided the Sagehens to a SCIAC championship and to the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2005, while her 2004 team had the second-best won-loss improvement in the nation.
Off the field, her Pomona-Pitzer teams have ranked in the top three in the nation in team grade point average four times (with a combined 3.55 or better), including three second-place rankings.
Scanlon holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “B” license and has experience coaching competitive club soccer and in the Olympic Development Program. She is a member of both the NSCAA and the USSF, and has served on the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer committee, including acting as the chair of the West Region and Great Lakes Regions.
