    Kirk Reynolds has twice been selected as the NCAA III West Region Track and Field Coach of the Year, and he has been a SCIAC Coach of the Year nine times in cross country and track and field. He is a USATF certified coach, and is also a correspondent for Track and Field News magazine.

    During Spring 2004, Reynolds traveled on sabbatical to Kenya in East Africa to study the extraordinarily successful men and women distance runners there. He also serves as historian for both the NCAA Division III Cross Country and Track and Field Executive Committees.
