Miguel Tinker Salas, professor of Latin American history and Chicano/a and Latino/a studies at Pomona College, is the author of a new book, Venezuela: What Everyone Needs to Know, and is one of the foremost experts on Latin American political and social issues today.

“Ashé Africa” Initiative
