Pomona College hosts The Fall Weekend [pdf] program which allows for students from diverse backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented on college campuses to experience the Pomona College campus over the span of a weekend.
Over The Fall Weekend, prospective students will have the opportunity to meet current students, speak with faculty, and explore the Pomona College community. Space is limited due to the size of our small, engaged community. However, we are dedicated to providing this opportunity to those whom the program will most benefit.
This year we will be hosting two weekends on September 26-29 and October 10-13.
Students interested in attending should complete the The Fall Weekend Application. A completed application includes:
- Current high school transcript
- List of 12th grade courses
- Activities resume
- Self-reported testing (SAT or ACT)
- Application essay
These items must be received by the Office of Admissions by the appropriate application deadline:
- Weekend 1 - September 26-29, 2015 (application packets due August 14, 2015)
- Weekend 2 - October 10-13, 2015 (application packets due September 4, 2015)
All Fall Weekend students are provided with on-campus housing, meals, and shuttle transportation between local airports and Pomona College. Limited travel grants are available to cover the cost of airfare. To be considered for travel grants, please complete the Travel Grant Request section of the application.
