Gabriel London PO ’00 is the director, writer and producer of the documentary The Mind of Mark Defriest, which looks at the prison world through the lens of the parole case of Florida prisoner Mark DeFriest, a notorious escape artist with mental illness. London began working on criminal justice issues while at Pomona, where he won the Albert R. Broccoli film award for the documentary Turned Out. He has produced and directed documentary films for more than 10 years, and is the partner and creative director of Found Object.

Annie Freitas SC ’11 is a doctoral student at Tulane University. She explores the intersections of the education and incarceration systems in order to develop programs that support rehabilitation and expanded opportunities upon release. Her current research focuses on higher education in prison.

Romarilyn Ralston PI '14 is a program assistant at the Center for Women in Transition, which assists women in the criminal justice system in making a successful transition to their families and communities.

Whitney Tipton SC '07 is a habeas corpus counsel at the Habeas Corpus Resource Center, which represents indigent people under sentence of death in California.
