Pomona College engaged Machado Silvetti Associates (MSA), an architectural and urban design firm with a national and international reputation for the design of civic and college and university museums. Together, MSA, Gensler and the College embarked on an inclusive design process to align the art of architecture with the functional and programmatic requirements of a 21st-century accredited academic museum.
Gensler is widely recognized as the world’s leading collaborative design firm. As executive architect, Gensler will build upon the design developed and accepted for the Pomona College Museum of Art and work with Machado & Silvetti Associates and Gensler to achieve the programmatic, functional and aesthetic goals defined for the project.
