Office of Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research conducts research to support planning and decision making processes at the College. The work of the IR office spans four main areas:
- Reporting. Maintaining a central repository of longitudinal institutional data and coordinating the compilation and reporting of this data to internal and external audiences.
- Survey Research. Coordinating institutional surveys of students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The data from these surveys provide analytical support for various planning and assessment activities on campus.
- Assessment. Building the capacity of the College to empirically engage questions about student learning and institutional effectiveness and develop appropriate data collection methodologies for on-going assessment activities.
- Institutional Studies. Responding to ad-hoc needs for in-depth research on various topics relating to institutional priorities.
