Student Theatre Groups

Student Theatre Groups are clubs recognized by the Associated Students of Pomona College (ASPC). The ASPC is the student government association at Pomona College. The ASPC represent student interests to the College, and allocates student fees to clubs and organizations, on-campus events and off-campus trips, and programs and services for all students.

Black Theatre Ensemble (BTE)

Black Theatre Ensemble is a culturally driven, student-run theatre group motivated to produce Black Theatre for the 5Cs to enjoy. BTE's mission is to highlight Black culture in a welcoming, celebratory, and affirming light.

Claremont Chinese Theatre Group (CCTG)

Claremont Chinese Theatre Group is a student-run theatre company dedicated to producing Chinese plays at the 5Cs. We welcome anyone who is interested in theatre and/or Chinese language/culture.

The Claremont Contemporary Performance Collective (CCPC)

The Claremont Contemporary Performance Collective is an experimental performance laboratory group dedicated to honoring what is weird, unnamable, nontraditional, provisional, interdisciplinary, or uncertain about the work we make. We produce all media of live performance, spanning theatre, dance, movement improv, music, performance art, clown and mime, spoken word, oral literature, visual art, installation and multi-media technology, and more. We love work that is either totally unserious or way too serious: we invite you to bring us your most unformed, out-of-place ideas that have nowhere else to go. We want to help you make them happen!

The Green Room (TGR)

The Green Room is the largest student-run theater group at the 5Cs. All of our productions are designed, performed, and run by students. We support student directors, playwrights, performers, and technicians in building a varied and exciting season of shows each semester. In addition, we host events to build community among artists across campuses and majors.
