The Pomona College Archives contains historical images and materials documenting the history of Pomona College from the 1880s to the present.
The mission of the Pomona College Archives is to collect, preserve, describe and make accessible records and materials that document the history and development of Pomona College and its associated programs, activities, events, persons, and groups. The Archives serves as the repository for official and unofficial records that have enduring and significant historical, administrative, or informational value.
The Archives is located on the Pomona College Campus in Sumner Hall, Room 006.
The Archives are open Monday through Friday during regular college business hours. However, we occasionally close the office to collect items or conduct other business outside the office. We encourage you to contact us in advance at email@example.com or (909) 621-8138 to schedule your visit.
The Pomona College Archives is open to all individuals who agree to abide by the rules governing their use. Materials are non-circulating and a brief registration process, including photo identification, is required of all researchers. Some records in the College Archives have restrictions placed on them for various reasons that include privacy, state and federal regulations, and issues of fragility and preservation. For those researchers unable to visit, a limited number of photocopies may be made available for research use, as physical condition, copyright restrictions and staffing permit.
