Our Favorite Fall-Friendly Mocktails

 

It’s the perfect time of year to share some of our favorite fall-friendly drinks so you can get together with friends in the spirit of Organic October! Enjoy as mocktails or add your favorite spirits to celebrate the season with your (21+) friends – featuring some of our favorite herbs that you can grow yourself or find at the Pomona Farm or Rooftop Garden!

 

Pear Cinnamon Mocktail

Ingredients:

1 cup sparkling water

1 Anjou pear

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 cinnamon stick

1 sprig of rosemary

1/2 tsp coconut sugar

Ice

Directions:

Cut pear into thin slices. Muddle 1/4 of the pear in a medium sized glass. Fill glass with ice and add sparkling water, lemon juice, cinnamon and coconut sugar. Stir well and garnish with rosemary, sliced pears and cinnamon stick.

Non-Alcoholic Moscow Mule

Ingredients:

1 lime (1-2 tbsp juice, fresh is best)

1 tbsp simple syrup

1/4 cup club soda

3-4 mint leaves (torn, optional)

3/4 cup Ginger Beer (make sure it’s non alcoholic)

crushed ice

Instructions:

In the bottom of cup, pour juice from lime, simple syrup and club soda.

Add mint leaves if desired.

Fill the cup about halfway with ice.

Then pour about 3/4 a cup of ginger beer over the ice.

Garnish with mint leaves and a lime wedge if desired, and serve.

Chocolate Martini Mocktail

Ingredients:

1 cup dark chocolate chips

2 cups coconut milk

1 pinch sea salt

¼ Tbsp vanilla coffee syrup

Chocolate Sauce (garnish)

Chocolate Sprinkles (garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Add the coconut milk to a small pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Turn off the stove and remove the pot from the heat right as it boils.
  2. Add the chocolate chips and salt to the pot and stir with a whisk. Keep stirring until the chocolate chips have completely melted and are blended into the milk.
  3. Add the vanilla coffee syrup and stir.
  4. Pour the chocolate martini mix into a bowl or pitcher, cover and refrigerate.
  5. Pour some chocolate syrup on a shallow plate and put the sprinkles on a separate shallow plate.
  6. Dip the rim on a martini glass in the chocolate syrup and then into the sprinkles.
  7. Use a whisk to give the chocolate martini mocktail mix a stir. Then pour the chocolate mix into each prepared martini glass. Enjoy chilled!
