Dear Pomona College Community,
I am pleased to follow up on President Starr’s announcement from last month and invite you to the public launch of the Global Pomona Project on Thursday, February 10 at 12:15 p.m.
In this public forum we will hear from Dr. Kara Godwin, Director of Internationalization at the American Council on Education (ACE), who is advising us on our pathway through the ACE Internationalization Laboratory, a collaborative two-year effort that will help us coordinate, connect and clarify our wide-ranging global efforts.
We hope that many of you will be able to join us—Kara already met with some campus stakeholders last month and will have in-person meetings with smaller groups of students, faculty, and staff during this 2-day campus visit.
At this time of global challenge and change, this is an opportunity for every one of us to help shape Pomona’s place in the world for our students and entire community. Please join us in making the most of it.
