Four faculty members have been awarded endowed professorship positions. The Pomona College Board of Trustees voted to support these appointments during their meeting in May.

Fourteen faculty members have been promoted, recognizing the exceptional work and impact of faculty across departments. 

Fourteen recent Pomona College graduates have been offered Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards for 2026-27. 

Khalab Blagburn ’27, a cognitive science and mathematics double major, won a $35,000 Beinecke Scholarship last month to support his graduate education—the first Pomona student since 2013 to receive the prize.

Ahead of the spring semester, Pomona College and Claremont Colleges students participated in an Energy Field Study designed to consider the challenges California faces in reaching its goal of carbon neutrality by 2045.

The Pomona College Glee Club brought its exceptional tapestry of unaccompanied choral music to audiences in Colorado and New Mexico late last month on its 2026 concert tour—the first time in at least 30 years the group had performed in either state.
