Three Sisters, Pomona College’s upcoming mainstage production, will be performed March 2-5 at Seaver Theatre. 

The Smart Start Career Fellows Program provides career development opportunities for Pomona sophomores who identify as first-generation and/or low-income. A three-day career trek in January gives them an inside look at a variety of workplaces.

Beliz Aluc ’23, Serenat Arpat ’25 and Ulas Ayyilmaz ’24 created a fundraiser on GoFundMe to aid victims of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on February 6.

Sara Sadhwani, assistant professor of politics, will be part of a team of researchers that will develop proposals for better governance for the City of Los Angeles. Sadhwani specializes in American politics and race and ethnic politics. 

Through the Women in Security program, now in its second year, students at Pomona College can learn firsthand about the experiences of women who are in the midst of advancing their careers in security-related fields.

Joseph C. Osborn was awarded a Digital Humanities Advancement Grant for $146,605 by the NEH. The award will fund the development of software tools supporting scholarship and citation of interactive software.

Civil rights pioneer Myrlie Evers-Williams ’68 has donated her archival collection to her alma mater Pomona College to inspire future generations of leaders and activists.
