Alex Woods ’18, a music and religious studies double major at Pomona College, has built up an impressive body of work that ranges across genres both classical and modern music, in both academic and extra-curricular contexts.
When “Rebecca” Jiaqi Chen ’17 started at Pomona College, she did not have any experience with the theatre arts. Today, she’s wrapping up her senior project based on the play Trojan Women: A Love Story.
Thanks to her $15,000 funding from the Napier Initiative, Jivika Rajani ’17 will create and run social innovation and entrepreneurship boot camps for almost 250 high school students in Dubai and Pune, India.
U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz ’94 (D-Hawaii) will deliver the principal address at Pomona College’s 124th Commencement Exercises on May 14, 2017. Approximately 390 students from the Class of 2017 will receive their undergraduate degrees.
