Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,
It is my pleasure to invite you to the first of several forthcoming campus forums to discuss a potential partnership between the College and Claremont Graduate University, as shared in my letter to the Sagehen community last month. The details of the forum are provided below. Please note that because we will be providing boxed lunches, everyone planning to attend should RSVP by this Friday via the response form linked below:
Campus Forum
- When? Tuesday, January 20, Noon to 1 p.m.
- Who? For Pomona College students, faculty and staff.
- ID required? Yes. Please bring your Pomona College ID for admission.
- Where? Edmunds Ballroom, Smith Campus Center. Seating is first-come, first-served.
- RVSP required? Yes. Please RSVP here by 5 p.m. Friday, January 16.
- Format? I will be joined by several members of the working group mentioned in my December letter. We will each make brief opening remarks and then take questions from those in attendance. This event is in-person only and will not be simulcast online.
These conversations are an important part of our ongoing due diligence in examining this potential partnership. We are committed to hearing from as many members of our community as possible and will convene additional forums over the course of the semester to gather further input.
In advance of the forum, we encourage you to read the dedicated website that covers a host of related information and FAQs. Thanks to everyone who has been sharing their questions via the feedback form. We will continue to respond to those questions by updating the FAQs on that dedicated website and welcome further feedback.
