Parent Orientation - August 24, 2014

Families and roommates meet on move-in day.

Summer Welcome Parties

Please join us at a reception for Pomona College students and their families near your area. This will be a great opportunity to meet members of the Class of 2018! For a full list, visit our Summer Welcome Parties page.

Every year, on Opening Day, we welcome both new students and their families to campus. In addition to helping students move into the residence halls, the College holds an orientation program to introduce parents to the campus community. While students are meeting each other and settling in, the orientation allows parents to learn about the academic life their students are beginning, gather information about campus services, and meet faculty, administrators and other parents.

8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Registration and Information

Registration tables will be in front of Oldenborg Hall, across the parking lot from the student check-in tables. (College Way between 4th Street and Bonita Avenue).
