Dear Sagehen Families,
Among Pomona College’s many strengths is its family programming. There are many opportunities for families to participate in the Pomona College experience through on-campus volunteering, sporting events, performances, art exhibits, lectures, local gatherings and much more.
As the Parents Leadership Council Co-Chairs, we encourage new families to attend Family Orientation and all families to attend Family Weekend in February. Please also consider participation in Pomona College’s Career Development programs, a donation to the Parents Fund, or helping to welcome new families to campus by hosting a Summer Welcome Party. For the families of the incoming class, please be sure to read our welcome message for incoming families and visit the New Parent Essentials page. You can do as much or as little as you like, however, your support contributes to the strength of our community and ensures that our students continue to enjoy a stellar education and an extraordinary college experience.
We welcome your interest and please don't hesitate to reach out if you would like to get more involved.

Move-In Day is a learning experience for students and families alike. That’s why, when Pomona welcomes everyone to campus in the fall, we offer an orientation for families introducing them to academic life, campus services, and more.
New Parent Essentials
Read New Parent Essentials to learn what to bring, navigate check-in, and get connected to the Claremont community before you ever leave home!
We’re always looking for involved family members to help throughout the year.
