Dear Sagehen Families,
I greatly appreciate the warm welcome and respect that Pomona shows for all members of the Sagehen community. There are many opportunities for families to participate and build ties to the campus and with each other, such as gatherings near your home, volunteering on campus, attending a performance, an art exhibit, a sports event, and much more.
As the Parents Leadership Council Chair, I invite you to join me at Family Orientation, and to consider participating in Career Development programs, giving to the Parents Fund, or helping to welcome new families to campus hosting a Summer Welcome Party. For the Class of 2022 parents, please be sure to visit our welcome message for incoming families and new parent essentials page. You can do as much or as little as you like, however, your support contributes to the strength of our community and ensures that our students continue to enjoy a stellar education and an extraordinary college experience.
I welcome your interest and please don't hesitate to reach out if you would like to get involved with family programs in some way!

Move-In Day is a learning experience for students and families alike. That’s why, when Pomona welcomes everyone to campus in the fall, we offer an orientation for families introducing them to academic life, campus services, and more. New Parent Essentials
Read New Parent Essentials to learn what to bring, navigate check-in, and get connected to the Claremont community before you ever leave home!
We’re always looking for involved family members to help throughout the year.
