Danielle Schickele '16 was looking for an education that was “well regarded and also completely different from Pomona,” so she took her studies to the highlands of Scotland. As a cognitive science major studying at the University of Edinburgh, Schickele is taking a variety of classes with the support of a program director specific to Pomona students and getting the experience of a huge university with large classes. “Pomona is only one institution and provides a very unique experience,” says Schickele. “By studying abroad, I feel like I am getting the opportunity to have a different experience educationally, culturally, and socially.”
