This summer, join the Class of 2023 as they start their Pomona journeys by reading If Beale Street Could Talk, James Baldwin's moving story of love in the face of injustice and considered “One of the best books Baldwin has ever written—perhaps the best of all,” by The Philadelphia Inquirer and now a major motion picture directed by Barry Jenkins.
