Farm Orientation (5C students only)
Friday, September 13th from 4–5 p.m. at the Farm gate

Come to the Farm Orientation for a tour and informational meeting. Learn about student plots, volunteer opportunities, Farm Stand, employment, chicken caretaking, and joining Farm Club.

Pesto Workshop + Potluck
Friday, September 13th from 5–7:30 p.m. in the Farm kitchen

Following our Farm Orientation, we will be making pesto from our Farm basil.  This pesto will then be used in various dishes for our first potluck of the year!  Come by, bring some food to share if you can, cook with us, and eat with us.  Students: if you bring food, be sure to save your receipts!  Farm Club can reimburse you for your ingredients—just check in with the Farm Manager!

Workshop with Taylor Smith Succulents
Friday, September 20th at 4 p.m. in the Farm kitchen

Is your new dorm room in need of some decoration?  The Farm’s got you covered! Local landscape artist Taylor Smith will be leading a succulent workshop.  Some pots will be provided but feel free to bring your own!

Potluck
Friday, September 27th from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in the Farm kitchen

Herb Scavenger Hunt + Tea-making
Thursday, October 3rd from 4–6 p.m. in the Farm kitchen

Grab some friends and test out your plant identification skills!  We will be having a scavenger hunt across the Farm for different varieties of sages, lavenders, and other herbs.  The winning team/individual will get Farm t-shirt(s)!  Following this competition, we will continue our herbal adventure with a tea-making workshop.
