The Future We Are Building Is Already Taking Shape
Originals builds on extraordinary momentum—and on the generosity of Sagehens who are already helping turn ambitious ideas into meaningful change.
Updated October 2026
In fiscal year 2025, more than 7,900 alumni, families and friends contributed a record $82.8 million in gifts and pledges, the second consecutive year Pomona set a fundraising record.
What It Looks Like
The campaign’s impact can be seen across the College. Philanthropy is strengthening financial aid and creating new support for middle-income students; expanding research, internships and global learning; and strengthening the endowment and faculty excellence. It helped make possible the Center for Athletics, Recreation and Wellness (CARW), now a hub for athletics, recreation and well-being, while new health and wellness initiatives are extending that commitment across the Pomona community. In October 2026, we broke ground on the $125 million Center for Global Engagement, the most ambitious capital project in the College’s history. The Center will bring residential life, global learning and interdisciplinary collaboration together in a new kind of liberal arts environment, with construction moving forward toward a planned 2028 opening.
Success in Community
Originals will measure success not only in dollars raised, but in a more engaged Sagehen community—one characterized by doubled volunteer participation, stronger two-way dialogue, greater event attendance and more frequent expressions of pride, connection and lifelong commitment to the College and each other.
There are many ways to be part of Originals: make a gift, volunteer, share your Pomona pride or join fellow Sagehens at an Originals, Together event. Explore the campaign, find an event near you and discover how you can get involved.
