We are pleased to share the next phase of the Shared Governance Task Force’s work. Following the community’s thoughtful feedback last month on the first draft of the Statement of Shared Governance and Principles of Decision-Making, the Task Force has now produced:
- A second draft of the Statement of Shared Governance and Principles of Decision-Making, revised in response to your comments and further discussion within the Task Force.
- A first draft of the Threshold Conditions for Effective Shared Governance, which outlines the essential elements necessary for shared governance to function well.
These draft documents are available in both English and Spanish on the Shared Governance Task Force page.
As before, we invite all members of the Pomona community to review these materials and share feedback through the online feedback form. Your insights continue to shape this work and ensure that Pomona’s shared governance framework reflects the values and commitments of our community.
Please share your feedback by Thursday, November 20, so it can be reviewed at the next meeting of the Shared Governance Task Force.
