46th Woodford-Eckis Lectureship

The Geology Department is delighted to announce that the 46th Woodford-Eckis Lectureship will be held on February 20th -21st, 2026. Our honored lecturer is Professor Christy Till (Arizona State University).

Professor Till's first lecture "Got Magma? Understanding Rates of Magma Generation & Transport Beneath Mt. Shasta in Human Terms" and will take place at 4PM on Friday, February 20th.

The second lecture "Comparative Petrology: Synthesizing Magmatic Processes & Their Drivers in the Cascades Arc" will be take place at 3:30PM on Saturday, February 21st.
