One of Pomona’s greatest strengths is Sagehens’ willingness to invest in those who follow.
Why it matters
A Pomona education does not have to end when a student leaves Claremont.
The experience, expertise and relationships accumulated across generations of Sagehens create an extraordinary resource for students and alumni alike. These relationships help students test ideas in the world, discover new paths, build confidence and imagine futures they may never have considered. They also give graduates meaningful ways to remain connected to the intellectual and communal life of Pomona.
What the campaign will do
This campaign will strengthen the programs that connect Sagehens across generations. It will expand mentorship, experiential learning, career development, alumni engagement and opportunities for lifelong learning.
What becomes possible
Students gain access to people whose knowledge and experience can open new possibilities.
Alumni can return as mentors, teachers, speakers and connectors.
Professional experience can flow back into the classroom.
And the Sagehen community can grow stronger across careers, communities and generations.
