Samira Yamin will teach Art 5 this Fall 2016 semester

This fall Samira Yamin will be teaching Art 5: Drawing 1 – An introduction to observational drawing with attention to the articulation of line, shape, form, gesture, value and composition. Yamin received her MFA from UC Irvine in 2011 and two BA degrees in Studio Art and Sociology from UCLA in 2006. In recent years, she has participated in residencies at the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation in Captiva, FL and the Djerassi Resident Artist Program in Woodside, CA. Yamin’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States.
