Hidden Figures Movie Outing (Plus Lunch!)

The Association for Women in Mathematics Pomona chapter, Pomona Scholars of Mathematics cohorts, and Pomona Math Dept. are teaming up to take up to sixty Pomona students to see Hidden Figures at the Laemmle movie theatre at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, January 22nd--FOR FREE!! We will distribute tickets in front of the theatre at 12:30 p.m. There will also be a lunch at noon on Tuesday, January 24th to talk about the movie! (The lunch is not necessarily constrained to 60 people.) The lunch will be on the first floor of Millikan in either the Argue Auditorium or the Emmy Noether Room--the location will be finalized soon.

This event is open to all Pomona College students. However, if you are a woman, a POC, and/or a math/STEM major, we especially encourage you to come along!

If you would like to attend, please send an email or Facebook message to Kayla Cummings or Kathy Sheldon indicating your interest in attending the movie, the lunch, or hopefully both!
