On the day your OPT begins, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) will email you an invitation to set up an SEVP Portal account and login. Please set up this access. If you do not receive this email by your first day of OPT, email your ISA so they can reset your portal account.

The portal will allow you to see various parts of your SEVIS record and allow you to report personal and employer information directly to SEVP. You will be able to:

  • Add or edit a phone number.
  • Add or edit your mailing and physical address
  • Add or edit your employer’s information.

I didn’t set up my Portal account and now the link is gone?

Email iss@pomona.edu requesting a reset email.

I’ve forgotten the username I created for the Portal.

Go to the SEVP Portal Login Page. Enter the email address recorded in SEVIS. Then do a password reset. (If you don’t know the email address recorded in SEVIS, email iss@pomona.edu for a look-up.)
