Priority deadline for all Approved Programs

Recommended priority applications:

Remaining Applications for Approved Programs & Programs by Petition**

February 8, 2026

March 13, 2026

* Students interested in submitting a petition for a non-approved program are strongly encouraged to begin their search with other programs offered by Pomona’s existing program partners (see our approved programs list for reference). In addition, students interested in petitioning to study at a university abroad are strongly encouraged to select a program offered through a program provider.

** Students may apply for Programs by Petition only if their petition (due December 3) is approved by the International and Domestic Programs Committee.

Students are expected to meet with an IDPO advisor and begin their petition/application at least two weeks in advance of the relevant deadline in order to ensure enough time for a successful application (which includes faculty approvals and at least one recommendation).

Please email the International and Domestic Programs Office if you have any questions.

Upcoming Events

Please note: Students applying for international programs must attend a Getting Started with the IDPO Info Session, or watch the Getting Started with the IDPO video series, and complete a quiz, and all students are required to meet with an advisor prior to accessing the application.
