CARES Peer Educators are student staff that work to provide prevention and educational programs, workshops, and events for the Pomona College campus community.
Peer Educators aim to actively engage students and transform campus culture with a focus on establishing equity, empowerment and ending all forms of sexual violence. We strive to promote an environment and create space that is inclusive and safe for exploring and learning more about power and privilege, systems of oppression, healthy relationships, gender, and more. We do this through immersive experiences that can include programs and events that facilitate dialogue, build skills, and increase access to information.
