CARES Peer Educators

CARES Peer Educators are student staff employed, trained and supervised by the CARES Office to provide prevention and educational programs and events for the campus community.

We aim to actively engage students and transform campus culture with a focus on establishing equity, empowerment and ending all forms of sexual violence. We strive to promote an environment and create space that is inclusive and safe for exploring and learning more about power and privilege, systems of oppression, relationships, gender, human sexuality, and more. We do this through programs and events that facilitate dialogue, build skills and increase access to information.
