is an attempt to explore who we are as human beings, define what forms us, and sort through the lenses in which we filter the world.
We sense things through our sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch, but it is not our ability to spontaneously harness these qualities that make us human.
It is our ability to retain them and hold their impressions as experiences and memories that evolve the human essence.
By cutting bits and pieces out of our lives and patiently gathering a lingering understanding of ourselves, we create a home within our own bodies.
It's fun to believe that we reside within ourselves:
Frantically cutting out memories and plastering them on the walls of our inner abode.
Bringing in friends, old and new, who have held you and given warmth to your dwelling when it was cold
Collecting every fragment of life that we can to decorate our interiors into more defined, complicated spaces.
This is how we understand that we are alive, that we are loved, and that we can make of this life whatever we want.
Whether you agree with that or not is up to you.
At the very least:
We hope that these afterimages of what makes us "us" make enough of an impression on you to dwell within you, too.
