Katrina Dank '20 spent the summer in Uganda learning how prevalent cancer is among the population. Before returning home, she wrote and illustrated a children's book to help the country's youth understand the disease.

Thirteen faculty members have been recognized for their intellectual leadership, professional achievement, and service.

Chemistry Professor Daniel J. O'Leary is using colorful models representing the shape and form of molecular orbitals to help students visualize and learn principles of organic chemistry. They are made with a hobby-grade 3-D printer.

Rya Jetha '23 and Mohammed Ahmed '23 will pursue master's degrees in Cambridge University's Downing College during the next academic year as recipients of the Downing Scholarship. Each year up to two Pomona students are selected for the award.

The PAYS program gives rising 10^th through 12^th graders from groups underrepresented in higher education a full-immersion experience at Pomona College over three summers, fully free of charge. 

This year, Pomona College bids farewell to six treasured faculty members. Though their presence on campus will be missed, each leaves behind a rich legacy of scholarship and teaching.
