Pomona College's commitment to equity and inclusion is the driving force behind the Perspectives on Pomona (POP) fall fly-in program. We welcome applicants who come from diverse backgrounds, traditionally underrepresented in higher education (including low-income, first-generation, rural, and those from underrepresented ethnic or racial groups), to fully experience the Pomona College campus.
During POP, prospective students will dine in view of José Clemente Orozco's world-famous "Prometheus" mural in Frary dining hall, learn directly from our inspiring professors, share late-night discussions with our current students in their residence halls, and explore the engaged and engaging Pomona College community.
All POP participants are provided with on-campus housing, meals and shuttle transportation between local airports and Pomona College. Travel grants are available to cover airfare expenses.
This program is open to rising seniors attending high school in the United States. Undocumented and DACAmented students are encouraged to apply.
