A Special Welcome Message from the President of the Alumni Association Board
Hi Sagehens,
I’m Robi Ganguly, your new Alumni Association Board president — and I want to start by saying congratulations on your graduation and welcome to the alumni community!
Even though I graduated in 2000, it honestly feels like I never truly left Pomona College. That sense of belonging only deepens over time, and my hope is that you begin to feel that too as you find your place in this lifelong community.
As you take your next steps — whether that’s a new job, furthering your education or embarking on other new adventures — know that the Sagehen community is here for you. Alumni are connecting every day through regional chapters, mentorship, career support and gatherings around the world. In fact, our community continues to grow with new chapters in cities like Boston and Denver.
One of my biggest goals as Alumni Board President is simple: to help alumni stay connected in ways that feel meaningful and manageable — especially in these early years after graduation. That might look like finding fellow Sagehens in the city you land next, staying in touch digitally through Sagehen Connect or attending an event back on campus.
I share more about my goals and hopes for the Sagehen alumni community in this Q&A.
What’s most important to me is that the Alumni Board and I hear from our alums. You can contact me anytime, with questions, ideas or if you just want to say hello. This email is brand new and we hope it’s a simpler way of helping you connect with the Alumni Board.
Welcome again, and I look forward to getting to know you!
Warmly,
Robi Ganguly ’00, Alumni Association Board President
