Past Glee Club Repertoire

The Glee Club has a long and proud tradition of performing a wide-ranging repertoire that engages the intellectual and artistic imagination of its members and its audiences. As with the Choir, the focus here is intentionally on music from the Western classical tradition, as this art form is not as well represented in most high school programs. As Pomona’s premiere choral ensemble, members of the Glee Club work to achieve the highest level of artistry with music that demands each member’s full engagement.

This page documents the repertoire sung by the Pomona College Glee Club beginning with the 1999 season, the first year of Donna Di Grazia’s leadership of the ensemble. During that time, the ensemble has had the distinct pleasure of performing with outstanding instrumentalists, including faculty members Genevieve Feiwen Lee (piano), Karl and Margaret Kohn (piano), Phillip Young (piano/chamber organ), Cynthia Fogg (viola), Tom Flaherty (composer/cello), Alfred Cramer (violin), and Malachai Bandy (viol and violone).
